For killing his teenage ex-girlfriend last spring, a Cortland County man could spend the rest of his life in prison. Michael S. Hammond II pleaded guilty Thursday in Cortland County Court to murdering Amie Leland last spring in her Cortland home, reported The Cortland Voice .
