5th-ranked Cortland laxwomen down Potsdam

Fifth-ranked SUNY Cortland won its fourth in a row with a 19-5 victory over the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team on Tuesday afternoon at Maxcy Turf Field. Red Dragons junior midfielder Ashley Gentile had a game-high four goals and sophomore attack Kristen Ohberg had a contest-best five points on two goals and three assists.

Cortland man charged with threatening to kill Mohawk police officers

A Cortland man has been indicted on federal allegations that he threatened in Facebook posts to kill three St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police officers. Roy S. Redeye, 38, was charged Thursday in U.S. District Court, Plattsburgh, with two counts of transmitting through interstate commerce a threat to injure another person.
