Police: More than $1,300 and heroin found during Cortland County traffic stop

Two people were charged with selling heroin after police say they found packets of the drug and more than $1,300 in cash in their vehicle during a traffic stop in Cortland. Ellenville residents Tori A. Gaeta, 22, and Shawn K. Richardson, 34, are charged with felonies for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fourth-degree conspiracy, the Cortland County Drug Task Force said in a news release.
